Let Us Help You

We want to help.  Here’s some resources we’ve put together to help you get started.

Ready to buy?

Your home will almost surely be the most expensive purchase you ever make.  It’s a huge deal.  And we’re here to help you get a great deal.  We’d love for you to work with one of our agents as you search for you first or next home, but there’s some things you should do no matter who partners with you on this endeavor.

How much can I afford?

If you’re like most people, your housing is a significant portion of your income.  You probably don’t have the money saved up to pay cash for your dream home, so you’ll be financing your new purchase.  Before you start your search for a home, you should know how much you’re qualified for.

You will also want to determine how much of a downpayment you can afford.  Different financing products have different downpayment requirements.

There will be some expenses in the buying process.  Inspections and appraisals are two of the most common times you may have to spend money on a house before it is yours.

How do I choose an agent?

Choosing the right agent is going to make your whole home buying experience better.  You’re going to be spending a lot of time working with this person.  Your agent is going to be the match-maker between you and your next home, so you want to find an agent who really ‘gets you’.  Your agent also has to be someone you can trust and depend on.  When searching for that person, here’s some things we recommend you keep in mind:

  • Your partner in negotiating
  • They’ve done this before
  •
